Patrick Giles is the sushi chef of choice for all Grand Del Mar and Crosby Estate in Rancho Santa Fe events. He was born and raised in San Diego, and went to work on the sportfishing boats of Seaforth Sportfishing at the early age of 15.
After nine years of fishing experience he began training as a sushi chef under many of San Diego’s best culinary artists, among them Big Mike of Hana Sushi, Kevin Saito of Station Sushi and Toshi San of Sushi Ota.
Patrick also worked as head sushi chef for MARKET Restaurant and Bar, where he learned many techniques working with Carl Schroeder and his talented staff.
Also an accomplished surfer, artist and graphic designer, Patrick has a cult following for his paintings of waves and abstract impressionisms. Let Patrick entertain your next event with his signature style of sushi that is unique to San Diego.
